Response to Breastcups from the director of Metre Cube Gallery
"Among all the artists shown this season, your work has been the one that most impressed and questioned our audiences. The performance encouraged debates both aesthetic and ethical and questions that remain ongoing. The language barrier was not a problem in inviting the audience to experiment with their own psychological and symbolic limits. Your work is all the more interesting because it is ongoing over time and also established on reflexivity; it makes links between cultures through it's universal nature."

Just for the record, I'd like to point out that I was not "working my bosom furiously" (!?), but it was a very relaxed and sedate affair, if a little tense and disturbing, as those audience members who were there could tell you!
Breastcups at the Barbican 22nd July 2010
The Breastcups installation appeared as part of 'The Fractured Body: The House as Body', a one off evening event by Mobile Studio as part of the Surreal House exhibition at the Barbican Art Gallery.
'The House as Body' event is the third in a series of Mobile Studio projects, entitled the (Un)Representable House, a manifesto for the development of a new architectural language that questions the public and private realm. Mobile Studio is a young, multi-disciplinary London based architectural practice actively involved in cultural and socially aware projects within the public realm. It places a strong emphasis on collaborative working. Mobile Studio is interested in art and architecture, and everything in between.
Wunderland
Breastcups the installation, in its newest form, was shown in March 2011 as part of "Wunderland", an exhibition marking International Womens Day at TactileBosche in Cardiff. Read the curator's reviewhere and take a look at some pictures of the installation, particularly at the end, where there's a beautiful one of the milk blancmange breast after 2 weeks in situ.
